KAREN CARAWAY of Highland has been named assistant director of the SAFEWORKS Illinois Return to Work Center, Champaign.
Ms. Caraway has a bachelor's degree in experimental psychology from Millikin University and a master's degree in exercise physiology from Illinois State University. She has worked as an exercise physiologist over the past three years at Midwest Industrial Rehabilitation, Decatur, and at Safety, Health and Occupational Rehabilitation for Employees (SHORE) Center, Decatur.
The Return to Work Center offers Work Hardening, Work Conditioning, functional capacity evaluations, post job-offer and fit for duty evaluations, safety training and ergonomic job site evaluations.
The Return to Work Center is an extension of the SAFEWORKS Illinois Occupational Health Center. SAFEWORKS ILLINOIS is a privately-owned facility, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and examining rooms. It is located at 1806 N. Market Street, right behind the Barnes and Noble store near the Market Place Mall.
Ms. Caraway and her husband currently live in Heyworth, IL.
